Coming up with the movable structure

The first part of deciding the design of the project included coming up with the movable structure part. This structure has an IR sensor attached to it which detects whether a book has been issued or not. It has a gear-rod structure which is used to easily locate a particular book by coming out on top of it.
We used the software blender to make 3D models of different designs before finalising the structure.
